Another variant that is rapidly gaining ground in the World of Poker, is Pot Limit Omaha. In the past couple of years, no other variant has grabbed the attention of Poker, the way PLO Omaha has.

Today we bring you, a collection of some of the biggest PLO Omaha hands ever:

How to be a winning player in Poker Tournaments

http://poker.gamentio.com/blog/-/blogs/11035383

We are all quite familiar with the fact that Poker is indeed the most skilled card game in the World. Those who have been playing the game for while, would totally agree with the fact that being a winning player in Tournaments is far more difficult than making profits in Poker Cash games.

Its all seems quite simple when a Tournament begins, every player will start with equal chips and quite often the stacks are pretty deep as compared to the Blinds initially. Play the good hands and fold the bad hands, basic stuff! But as I said easier than it sounds. When you actually start playing a Tournament you will experience such crunch situations that even the best can err and give away all their chips in no time. One bad decision can eliminate you in a jiffy.

1. Start slow and then accelerate:

You should start off any tournament, cautiously and play as tight as possible in the beginning. Unless of course, you have a big hand and have to raise the bets. As you move through the initial levels, try and steady your ship, small pairs and hands like A-10 off are fine to fold to any raise, in the early stages.

As the blinds go up and players keep getting eliminated, you can now ease a little and start playing with more freedom. When it finally comes to the later stages, when all the big stacks are going to put pressure, it is now when you don’t hold back and start playing aggressively. If you don’t do this, it is highly likely the increasing blinds will consume your chips in no time.

Team India creates history by winning its first ever WSOP Gold Bracelet

http://poker.gamentio.com/blog/-/blogs/11000404

The moment that all the Poker fanatics have been waiting for so long has finally arrived. Team India has won its first ever WSOP bracelet, as Aditya Sushant and Nipun Java created history by winning WSOP 2017, Event 10: $1000 Tag Team Event.

We all could knew, that sooner or late the day would arrive and it did in style indeed. Besting a field of 843 teams, the tag team of Aditya Sushant and Nipun Java won their first ever respective WSOP Gold Bracelets and a prize money of $150,637 in total.

Sushant and Java were both born in India, before Java moved to the United States twelve years ago. They crossed paths during WSOP 2014 in the United States and since then became close friends. Their decision to pair up for this Tag Team Event could not have come at a better time as both smashed a strong field and came on top to win the event.

Aditya Sushant, who managed to get to Goa on a bus from Chennai, in order to participate in Indian Poker Championship 2010, barely had funds to enter the event. He somehow convinced his mentor and the Indian Poker legend Aditya ‘Intervention’ Agarwal and got staked for the event, which he later went on to win. Since then Sushant never looked back. He instantly made Poker his career choice and has been playing both online and live tournaments, across the World. He also happens to be the first Indian to come closest to winning the prestigious Pokerstars Sunday Million event, when he finished second in the event for a pay day of $168,157 in 2013. Sushant has around $300,000 in live Poker tournament earnings.

http://poker.gamentio.com

In 2016 45% of the total revenue generated by Apple’s App Store was through gaming apps. While gaming apps contributed 75% of the total revenue for the Google Play store. Games might be a great source of entertainment but the business of games is a very serious thing. It involves billion dollar industries and hours of research and development. The importance of keeping gamers hooked has never been more intrinsic to the survival of Game Developers. But today let’s evaluate what might cause users to switch from one game to another.

Convenience

The most apparent reason why a user switches from one game to another is simply because they can. Since internet has become the primary medium used, with just a click you can install a game and another click can uninstall one. Users don’t need any technical knowledge or other complicated tools to be able to find or play games of their choice. The sheer number of games available is huge, from the really simple-to-play to the highly specialized games, everyone can choose their pick.
