What is Indian Rummy?

Indian Rummy Rules
- 13 cards are dealt to each player and the game is played between 2 to 4 players.
- Every player picks or discards a card from the closed or open deck to form sets or sequences.
- The objective is to form right combinations of 4, 3, 3 and 3 cards.
- Players are also required to have a pure sequence formed without the use of joker.
- A player declares his hand after melding all the 13 cards in sets or sequences.
What happens with the joker?
A joker is a wild card and can be used in place of any card. The role of jokers in Indian Rummy is to complete sequences or runs.
